Last updated: June 20, 2026
Inbox Phantom (“Inbox Phantom,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect information when you use our website, browser extensions, and related services collectively referred to as the “Service.”
Our Service is available at: https://inboxphantom.com
We process personal data in accordance with applicable privacy laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) where applicable.
1. Why Inbox Phantom Exists
Conventional email services often require personal information and may store data for long periods of time. This can increase exposure to spam, tracking, data breaches, hacking, or other privacy risks.
Inbox Phantom provides temporary, disposable email addresses designed to help you protect your real inbox, reduce spam, and limit unnecessary data exposure when signing up for websites, testing services, or receiving one-time messages.
2. What Inbox Phantom Does
Inbox Phantom provides temporary email addresses that allow users to receive emails without revealing a personal or permanent email address.
Inbox Phantom features may include:
- Instant generation of temporary email addresses
- Ability to copy temporary email addresses to the clipboard
- Ability to delete a temporary email address at any time
- Real-time inbox updates while an email address is active
- Automatic deletion of inboxes and messages after expiration
- Optional browser autofill support for email input fields
- Multiple mailbox slots
- Premium features, including premium domains, custom email names, in-extension message reading, attachment downloads, and additional mailbox functionality
Inbox Phantom is not intended to provide permanent or long-term email storage. Temporary inboxes, messages, attachments, and related mailbox data are automatically removed after a limited retention period.
3. Information We Collect
We collect and process information only as needed to operate, secure, improve, and support the Service.

- Authentication or session tokens needed to connect the extension to your Inbox Phantom account or temporary mailbox
Some extension data may be stored locally in your browser extension storage so the extension can function properly across popup views, settings, background tasks, and website synchronization.
3.4 Autofill and Website Content Processing
If extension autofill is enabled, the extension may inspect web pages you visit to detect email input fields and allow you to insert your temporary email address.
This processing is limited to what is necessary to provide the autofill feature. We do not use this access to build browsing profiles, sell browsing activity, or use website content for unrelated purposes.
Page inspection for autofill generally occurs locally in the browser, except where communication with Inbox Phantom services is necessary to generate, manage, or synchronize mailbox state.
